Dependence of yield and quality of potato tubers on the action of a growth regulator in the foothill zone of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania

Abstract. The aim of the work was to study effect growth regulator “Epin-Ekstra” on yield and quality indicators potato tubers Nevskiy variety by results field experiments. Methods. studies set objectives were carried out conditions in foothill zone Republic North Ossetia-Alania experimental section Caucasus Scientific Research Institute Mountain Foothill Agriculture – branch Federal Center “Vladikavkaz Russian Academy Sciences” according generally accepted methods during 2019–2021. soil plot is leached, heavy loam, medium thickness, underlain pebbles. Results. testify positive impact Ossetia-Alania. Pretreatment with (10 ml/t) treatment crops spraying phase budding (60 ml/ha) contributed formation highest 29.6 t/ha, 88,0 % marketability, which 10,3 t/ha more than control, 4.8 variant II 6.1 III. best qualitative observed at complex processing: content dry matter 22.2 %, starch 12.9 vitamin C 10.4 mg%. lowest nitrate 89 mg/kg pre-budding “Epin-Ekstra”.
